When you add new lines in a Wiki Markup and then change to a RT view, the new lines added are not persistent.
To enforce the new line in RT, one way is to add at least two explicit line breaks.

(Please note that this will however, not resolve the problem with rendered HTML i.e. the explicit line breaks are ignored. I've noticed this erroneous behaviour when working with lists)
