Issue Summary

• After adding a comment (annotations) in a pdf file using Adobe Acrobat, the comments are not rendered properly
• Comments added in a pdf file using Adobe Acrobat after highlighting a word also does not gets preview in Confluence

Steps to Reproduce

1. Pick any PDF file, for example the PDF documentation for JIRA Servicedesk 3.1: (attached)
2. Open the file in the PDF viewer of your choice with support for adding annotations for example Adobe Reader DC
3. Select any word and add comment (annotations ) for the selected word
4. Highlight any word and then add any notes
5. Save the PDF
6. Attach the PDF in Confluence and preview
7. The comments added are not rendered properly
8. The comments/notes given in the highlight section too does not shows up in the preview

Actual Results

1. The comments added are not rendered properly
2. The comments/notes given in the highlight section too does not shows up in the preview

Expected Results

1. The comments added should show up properly in preview
2. The comments/notes given in the highlight section should also show up properly in preview

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
