I am seeing odd behavior wherein the export to PDF generates a PDF for a version that is NEITHER the version being viewed nor the current version.  I'm using 7.19.16. Anyone have an explanation for this? Even if you continue not to support export of the selected version, it seems like a defect to export some seemingly random 3rd version.

same with us. We have security and compliance regulations that force us to export historical version to PDF and we would like NOT to restore these older versions to the current one to do it. This is NOT user friendly and you have to restore the current version againd disturbing in the meantime the other users with wrong/old current versions!!!!

We are a bank with that regulations and cannot believe that confluence data center nor any plugin can help us.

Is there any fix or plug ins at the marketplace?

We need an option to export page's historical versions export from the space export.

This will help us in addressing the security and compliance requirements where the periodic changes in policies / adherence are noted in them.

If Confluence can't export the historic PDF itself, is there an application available that would perform this functionality?

I've faced the same issue and as the ticket is closed publishing here a workaround that helps me:

1. Restore old version(... > Page History -> Restore action)

2. Export it to PDF

3. Restore the original one(... > Page History -> Restore action)

Yup, same here. We just implemented our ISO 9001 documentation based upon Confluence and the Ad-Hoc-Workflows plugin. PDF export looks quite nice, but is not usable because of this issue...

This issue is open sice quite long time. Any updates on this. This is coming up often as requirement in our organisation.

Note! Export to Word funcation does operate correctly and is using the displayed revision for the export. I expected that export to PDF and Word worked in the same way!
