REST API to copy pages

      Currently we don't have an API available to copy a page using REST API for Confluence hosted on server/dc where the same is available for Confluence Cloud.

      The request is for having an API for Confluence on server/dc

            Hi everyone,

            Thanks for your interest in this suggestion! We'll soon release a new REST API for moving a page or page hierarchy, which we're tracking here. I've renamed this ticket to solely track the request for a copy page API going forward. We don't have an ETA for this suggestion yet, but will post an update to this ticket once we do.

            Hello Atlassian Team,

            Why Cloud version has every best APIs features and Data center not?  It is not fair for customers who use Data Center version..

            Can you share the status ? I wonder honestly if the way to handle ideas and improvement requests really work.
            If you are not aware of that ticket you can not vote for it. As well how is it guaranteed we have just 1 improvement ticket for the same topic ?
            So if we have 4 similar tickets and all haveing 25 votes we have in total 100.

            I have a request for external application which allows users to manage complex page hierarchy. 

            Possibility to copy pages via REST API on Server/DC edition is critical for this project.

            I assume that copying pages using API will cover macros content like manual copy function in Confluence App.

            This is important API to have, particularly when page level archiving is not possible in Confluence. When can we expect move page API.

            I have a use case at my company where to simplify permissions for external vendors we label pages for export and then I leverage the API to copy the page over to the permission controlled space. This allows us to maintain that space but only copy out the pages that we want the external vendor to see (and the vendor benefits by only having to look in one place for their info instead of across all our spaces). The code for the copy is quite complex right now, especially as pertains to attachment copy, and I'd prefer to use Confluence's built-in method.

            A user asked for this for a sort of bulk creation of pages from a template rather than having to populate what they want in the "storage" value of a new page.
