    Description

      Problem Definition

As a Confluence administrator, I'd like to have an option to see the status of index replication between Confluence nodes.

      Suggested Solution

In Jira, there is the option to check the status of the index by using the /rest/api/2/index/summary/ API call for each node and then compare the results.

It would be helpful to have a similar option in Confluence.

      Why this is important

Currently, there is no way for administrators to determine that the index across the nodes is staying in sync.

      Workaround

Confluence administrator may rely on a manual validation as described in this KB.
