Issue Summary
While creating multiple Jira issues within Confluence editor from a table, the auto populated description does not retain any spacing. When viewing the description in the Jira issue, all spacing and much of the formatting has been removed.
Steps to Reproduce
• Create a simple table with at least three rows.
• Use the first row as the table headers. The first one being Summary and second one Description.
• Add "Test" as the summary in both empty cells in the "Summary" column.
• Write two or more paragraphs with a space between or add a simple bulleted list to the empty cells in the column named Description.
• Highlight the entire table and click the "Create Jira Issue" icon in the pop up
• Click "Create Multiple Issues From Table"
• Select the correct headers for Summary and Description.
• Create the Jira Issues.
• Open the Jira Issues in Jira.
Expected Results
The basic spacing and formatting is retained in the description in the Jira issue.
Actual Results
The Jira issue does not retain any spacing or most formatting in the Description. This results in Descriptions which are formatted with spacing, bullets, or bold/italic/underlines being jumbled up and at times unreadable.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
