We are using v7.2.1 (as at 2020-04-26)

(apology if this has been addressed in later versions already)

When there is no View Restriction, the lock icon is a an unlocked solid grey padlock

When it is Edit restricted it is STILL the same unlocked solid grey padlock

When it is View and Edit restricted it is a locked solid red padlock

I propose that this is changed to

      1. When there is no View or Edit Restriction, the lock icon is a an unlocked black outlined padlock i.e. white filled.
      2. When it is ONLY View Restricted, no Edit Restricted, it is a locked solid grey padlock, i.e. grey filled
      3. When it is ONLY Edit restricted, i.e. everyone can view and a nominated editors,  it is a is a locked red outlined padlock i.e. white filled.
      4. When it is View AND Edit Restricted, it is a is a locked solid red padlock i.e. red filled.

That way there is a differentiation between the types of restrictions that have been applied.

The outlined padlock, locked or unlocked, always indicates no View Restrictions.

The solid filled padlock indicates Edit Restrictions

I manage multiple large instances and just got a user ticket about this.  She could not figure out why the Edit icon was missing; there's not indicator that edit restrictions exist.  Some version of Rodney's suggestion is good, subject to the UX team's judgement.  Should be pretty easy to change I hope.

The problem here is that a page is easily shared without realising it is restricted for viewing. Surely an easy and obvious fix is that suggested above.
