MSI and EXE versions of Companion can be installed and run side by side

      If you install both the MSI and EXE versions of Companion, you will have 2 versions installed and both can run simultaneously. You will also see both appear in Windows' add/remove programs screen.

      Expected behaviour

      A potential solution would be to prevent installation of one version when the other is detected to already be installed.

      Workaround

      Manually uninstall one of them.
