Before we can use Jira Issue macro, the Confluence and Jira application must be connected via Application Links. People viewing the page will see the publicly accessible issues from the Jira site. If your Jira site has restricted viewing (that is, people need permission to view issues) then they will need to authenticate before seeing the restricted issues.
When JSD customers are authenticating themselves, due to the permission issue, they cannot see the issue macro with the error "Data cannot be retrieved due to an unexpected error".
Suggestions
It would be great if issue macro functionalities can be opened to JSD customers without granting Jira application access
