Issue Summary
By default, Confluence admin should have the permission to edit and view all pages in Confluence regardless if they have the space permission or not. However, If Confluence admin does not have the view/edit space permission, the edit button is missing for the Confluence admin.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a space and page
- Configure the space to make only confluence-users group have the edit and view space permission
- Create a new admin user account and add the account to confluence-administrator group only
- Login as the newly created admin account
- Access any page in the space created in step 1
Expected Results
The admin account should see the edit button and edit the page
Actual Results
The edit button is missing for the admin
Workaround
The workaround is to grant the edit permission for the Confluence admin group.
