Problem summary

Missing Restriction Icon on the page for a user who does not have edit permission on space. The user will never know why the Edit option is missing for him and think its an issue with his instance.

Scenario

Consider a scenario where space has restricted permission. The group added to space doesn't have Edit permission. Now when the users who are part of that user try to access the page, they will not see the edit option on the page. There is no way they would know that their edit access is restricted by admin at the space permission level.

Ideally, the pages should show page restriction icon for the page to avoid confusion.

For instance, for Space, the confluence-users group have doest have edit permission for space:

Hence the users of this group are not able to view the edit option on the page.

But the page doesn't show any restriction fo the user. Hence users don't know if the page is restricted for them to edit

Suggestion

Please add a restriction icon to such pages for where the user permission is restricted at space level.
