    Description

      Issue Summary

Currently, it is possible for users to be assigned the same Text Cursor color. This causes confusion and makes collaboration harder.

This problem is increased when users have the same first name. In this situation, they can have the same color and letter to describe them within the editor.

Upon testing, it seems that we are able to cycle through ten different colors and the colors can be repeated.

The suggested resolution is to keep the editor from assigning the same color for more than one user and increase the color pool from which the system can select.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a new page in Confluence
      2. Edit it with multiple users (preferably more than 10 users)
      3. Make sure that Collaborative editing is turned on

      Expected Results

Every and each user has a different color to describe them

      Actual Results

Colors can be repeated, causing confusion:

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
