After opening a link and refreshing a page by pressing return (enter) on the address bar in Chrome the page refreshes an HTTP address
Environment
- Chrome
- Confluence configured for SSL (redirecting all HTTP traffic to HTTPS )
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Confluence in Chrome
- Open a Confluence link on a new page (Cmd + Click)
- Refresh the page by putting cursor in the address bar
Recording failure.mov attached showing success and failure
Expected Results
- Page refreshes with same HTTPS url successfully
Actual Results
- The page attempts to load using HTTP and fails with "Bad Request This combination of host and port requires TLS." (see error.png)
Workaround
- Issue is not reproducible in other browsers
- Refresh using Cmd (ctrl) + R
Notes
- Not all pages are affected, but no clear pattern
