For monitoring purposes, it would be helpful to have an endpoint that would return the output of the page http://<confluence>/admin/viewindexqueue.action, focusing the output to the amount of pending indexing items in the queue.

That'd help customers have visibility of their index queue in a proactive way, having them take measures when that queue is increasing and not decreasing a given period of time.
