Not able to search for attachments containing "-" character when using "!" keyboard shortcut (file suggestions)

Environment

Confluence 7.0.1, 6.15.9

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create multiple .svg attachments matching following naming pattern:

   Sample-1.1.svg
   Sample-1.2.svg
   Sample-2.1.svg
   Sample-2.2.svg
   Sample-3.2.svg
   Sample-3.3.svg
   Sample-3.4.svg
   Sample-4.1.svg
   Sample-4.2.svg
   Sample-5.1.svg
   Sample-5.5.svg
   

2. Attach files to the page by using drag & drop feature
3. Perform two test scenarios:
   1. A) Type "!Sample" in the editor to attach Sample-5.1.svg file from the list
   2. b) Type "!Sample-5.1" or "!Sample-5.1.svg"

Expected Results

• In test scenario A file suggestions box displays all attachments added to the page (including Sample-5.5.svg)
• In test scenario B file suggestion box displays Sample-5.5.svg attachment

Notes

Issue is not reproducible when using "_" character instead of "-"

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
