We are using page properties macros for building traceability on our projects. As we have many projects and we are big company we have created template for project space. This is coausing that we have plenty of pages with the same name in Confluence server (not in space of course)
While building traceability I need to often use in "Page properties report macro" an ancestor or parrent page as atribut to get correct report.
Unfortunately, this parameters are searching through pages through all spaces and my page I'm interested in is not in the list. (we have at least 500 hudred spaces and expecting the number will grow)
I tried to set up space parameter befor using ancestor or parent page, hoping this will affect searching of ancestor, but it is not taken into account.
Would it be possible to ensure, that when I'm looking for some page using a page name in a specific space a page in space will be among first choices. Or at least, when I have specified a space before, then only pages from specified space will be displayed only.
NOTE: this feature is a global problem of all macros which are using searching using a page name, which is annoying and problem is growing with growing number of our projects created from space template.
Thanks for taking this into account.
