    Description

      Summary

When a page tree is moved to another space, some of the links between pages are broken.

      Environment

      • Confluence Server 6.5.0

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create some pages. I.e. following the page tree below:
        Parent page
        ├─ Child page 1
        ├─ Child page 2
        │ └─ Child page 3
        └─ Child page 4
      1. Copy the links to all 4 child pages and insert them into the Parent page;
      2. Move the parent page to a different space

      Expected Results

The links should change to point to their new location

      Actual Results

Links are changed from working links to links that redirect the Page Editor, with the page title filled in but nothing else. If you check the broken link, you are also unable to edit it:

      Notes

The broken links were changed from
      https://<BASE-URL>/wiki/spaces/TS/pages/5505026/Child+page+1
      to
      https://<BASE-URL>/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=TS&title=Child+page+1

Links in Pretty format also get broken when the target page is moved.

      Workaround

No other workaround besides editing the page and changing the links.
