Problem Definition

Currently, there is no way to disable the automatic permissions that are inherited on child pages, from the configured page restrictions on parent pages. This is a limitation in select cases where a user might not want those permissions to be automatically applied in the first place.

Suggested Solution

The ability to simply select whether restrictions from a parent page should be applied to its child pages would already solve this issue, and provide greater freedom to Confluence admins.
