-
Severity 3 - Minor
Summary
Calendar creator cannot receive notification about events which were created by another user for the first time.
Environment
- Team Calendar v. 6.0.25
- Confluence needed to be integrated with SMTP server
Steps to Reproduce
- Login Confluence with User A
- Create a space (Space 1) and unwatch it
- This step is required for isolating this problem from CONFSERVER-57698
- Create a calendar and associate it with Space 1
- Confirm if User A is watching the newly create calendar
- Create an event "Birthday" on the calendar
- Please don't set a user other than User A or User B to Who field to prevent any unwanted notification
- User A shouldn't receive any notification as it was own update
- Logout Confluence
- Login Confluence with User B
- Create an event "Birthday" on the calendar
- Confirm if User A receives a notification about the event
- Create an event "Leave" on the calendar
- Confirm if User A doesn't receive any notification about the event
Expected Results
User A should receive a notification in Step 10 as well as it received in the Step 8.
Actual Results
User A didn't receive a notification in Step 10.
Notes
- An even "Birthday" was created by User A for the first time but the other one "Leave" wasn't.
- The event types themselves don't seem important to reproduce this bug
- You can reproduce this bug with any two event types
Workaround
There seems to be no workaround at this moment.
