      Summary

Currently, the Jira Issues Macro will return up to the predefined 'Maximum Issues' limit, but displays them all in one page.  If you have, for example, 300 issues being returned, you either need to view all 300, or you set the 'Maximum Issues' limit to something less (such as 50), and then Confluence will make you click a link to see the rest of the issues in Jira.  It would be nice to have an option to display the issues in Confluence via pagination.

      Workaround

The old 'Dynamic Render Mode' does paginate issues, but this may break other functionality.  To enable it, you must edit the source of the Confluence page via API or  Confluence Source Editor and add in

      <ac:parameter ac:name="renderMode">dynamic</ac:parameter>

to the macro. This changes the display and how the issues are loaded, but it does paginate the results.
