Issue Summary
According to Modify Confluence Interface Text, you should be able to modify certain textual elements in the UI by updating the ConfluenceActionSupport.properties file contained in the confluence-x.x.x.jar file. However, this doesn't appear to work now.
Environment
- Confluence 6.10.0
- Confluence 6.6.0
Steps to Reproduce
To reproduce this problem:
- Follow the steps listed under the "Steps For Modification" section of Modify Confluence Interface Text.
- Modify a given property using guidance from the above page.
Expected Results
You should see the UI change based on the modified property.
Actual Results
There are no changes to the UI.
Notes
Through testing, the feature appears to have been broken in a release between version 6.6.0 and 6.10.0.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior.
