Description
Summary
- If you have an event which repeats daily and has a reminder and you remove one instance of it of your calendar, you'll still receive the email notification reminding of the deleted event.
Environment
- Windows 7
- Team Calendar 6.0.25
Steps to Reproduce
- In a calendar, create an event that is repeating daily and it has a reminder one hour before the event starts.
- Save the event.
- In the calendar UI, navigate to and click on a future occurrence of this event, choose "delete – This instance only".
Expected Results
- The deleted event won't trigger any reminder notification.
Actual Results
- The deleted event triggers an email notification reminding of its occurrence (even though it is deleted from the UI).
Notes
- On the images 1 and 3, it is shown the calendars with its events and the deleted occurrences.
- On the images 2 and 4, it is shown the notifications received even though some of the events were already deleted.
- On the images 5 and 6, it is shown that the deleted events have been excluded from the calendar (EXDATE field); the image 7 complements these two, showing that the events 35 and 36 are related to the Test number 5 and Test number 6 events.
