    Description

      User Scenario:

Error while attempting to log in to Confluence iOS app post upgrade to version 1.2.0
"Unauthorised error. Your session timed out. Log in again to keep working"

      Expected Result :

      Login successfully

      Actual Result:

Users end up with the above mentioned error

      Cause

During the login process cookies sent from the server are stored in the "pre-authentication cookie store" but post login certain cookies are not transferred from the "pre-authentication cookie store" to the "post authenticated cookie store". The absence of these special cookies that are needed for authenticated calls is the reason for the app's session expiry.

      Workaround

As of today, developers have shipped a beta version, Confluence iOS app v1.3.0.142 to TestFlight, which can be downloaded using the link https://testflight.apple.com/join/BP8yM5kF

      Note

This TestFlight build may not be released into production till the end of Jan next year as we are currently in a release freeze.
The issue seems to affect Crowd SSO users as well.
