      Same as in Jira, it would be beneficial to have an option to add specific parameter to JVM in order to disable specific mail authentication protocols.

      -Dmail.imaps.auth.plain.disable=true 
-Dmail.imaps.auth.ntlm.disable=true 
-Dmail.imaps.auth.gssapi.disable=true
-Dmail.imap.auth.plain.disable=true 
-Dmail.imap.auth.ntlm.disable=true 
-Dmail.imap.auth.gssapi.disable=true

      This is especially helpful in case of usage of Microsoft Exchange -
