Epic links don't load in the Jira Issue/Filter macro when the Epic Link field name is translated

XMLWordPrintable

      Summary

When loading the Jira Issue/Filter Macro in Confluence pages while using a language that translates the Epic Link field name, Epic Links will not be displayed in the filter.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a filter in Jira to be added in Confluence that returns issues links to Epic issues.
      2. Add the Jira Issue/Filter macro to a Confluence page.
      3. Set up the macro to use the filter created in Jira and ensure that Epic Links are being displayed in the filter.
      4. Load the page while having a language such as Japanese set as the main language.
        • This works with either having the user profile in Confluence set to use Japanese or having Japanese being set as the main language in the Browser.

      Expected Results

Epic links will show up in the filter macro.

      Actual Results

      Epic links are not displayed

      Notes

This seems related to JRASERVER-39009 - when testing this, Epic Links were shown in different languages only when the translation in the Confluence side did not translate this field name.

      Workaround

Ensure that the page is loaded in English.
