Ability to quote a single item in a list

In Confluence, we can quote text and lists. Right now when quote is used for an ordered or unordered list, all of the list is quoted like following:

It will be better if users have the ability to quote individual items in the list.
For instance, in the example above, there should be an ability to just quote Item 3 and not all of the list.
