Preserve Parent and Space information on Historical Versions of pages

XMLWordPrintable

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Historical content entity objects are intentionally stripped of their space and linking page information to avoid coming up in a list of current pages, e.g. space.getPages().

This means you can't tell what space a page previously belonged to, or what parent a page previously had.

Perhaps lists of current pages should be aware that historical pages exist and not return them, so this information can be stored properly.
