Editor can't convert pages with the Pipe sign on the title

Summary

Confluence edit won't render the page title when copying the page link from a page that has a pipe sign in the title and pasting in the editor of another page.

Environment

Tested on Confluence Server 6.10.0 and 6.9.1

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a page which name has a pipa sign in the middle of the title, like Page | Title and save it
2. Copy the link (full URL) of this page with the pipe sign
3. Create another page and while editing it paste the link of the page with the pipe sign in the editor

Expected Results

1. Confluence should convert the link to the page name.
2. Clicking on the link should bring us to the page.

Actual Results

1. Confluence converts the link to some pattern "SpaceKey:First-word-of-the-page-title"
2. Clicking on the link brings us to a draft to create a new page.

Notes

Workaround

Remove the Pipe sign from the page title
