Mediawiki sends an email if you are watching a page, but allows you to then not receive any additional emails until you visit the page. This is incredibly helpful for pages you are watching that have high volumes of updates. For example we have a page tracking updates to a certain project that has 10-15 updates an hour. Even with email batching, I'm getting 5-6 emails per hour. The additional emails don't provide value, as I can mark the first one for follow up and get to it when I have a chance, and I can use the page history if I really want to see the diffs between individual revisions. If there's any way this functionality could be brought to Confluence, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
