      Summary

The Clean Temporary Directory job is located under Scheduled Jobs from Confluence administration. Currently this job does not seem to be running nor throwing errors when attempting to run manually or via schedule.

      Environment

      • Confluence

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Start a test Confluence instance
      2. Head to General Configuration -> Scheduled Jobs
      3. Next to Back Up Confluence, select Run (this will generate a .zip file in the <confluence-home>/temp directory)
      4. From terminal, visit <confluence-home>/temp and note that the zip file for the back up are there
      5. Return to the Scheduled Jobs screen and manually Run the Clean Temporary Directory job

Also tested scheduling the job to see if it would complete correctly but it also failed to remove the contents of the directory.

      Expected Results

The zip file(s) will be removed from the directory

      Actual Results

The files remain in /temp and the time stamp is updated in the Schedule Jobs UI showing that the job was ran but no contents were actually removed from the directory.

      Workaround

Manually remove the contents of the /temp directory
