Problem Definition

When Jira gadgets are added to a page in Confluence, gadgets gets refreshed when the page is reloaded.
Currently the refresh setting of Jira gadgets are for controlling the refresh of data on a static page/dashboard. So, when a reload of browser is done, a new set of data is plotted onto macro, irrespective of the refresh setting of the gadget.

Suggest Solution

Gadgets should have an option of saving the snapshot at a particular time or till the next refresh interval and should not get refreshed on page reloads.

Why this is important

This functionality can be used when multiple users in a company are using a gadget for a report on different browser sessions.
