Description
Problem Summary
Indent/Outdents do not play well with tables in the Confluence Editor. Trying to use this feature when a table is present can lead to unexpected behavior affecting the table itself and the surrounding lines.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a page
- Click Insert > Markup and paste in the following sample content:
Line one of text ||head1||head1|| |body1|body2| Line two of text
- Place cursor to the left of the table the whole table. The flashing cursor should be height of the table, indicating it is entirely in front of it
- Click the Indent button, and then the Outdent button right after
Expected behavior
- On indent, the table and ONLY the table is indented.
- On outdent, the table is moved back to the original position.
Actual behavior
- On indent, the table and both lines of text before/after it are indented.
- On outdent, only the top row of text is outdented, and the table plus the following line of text remains in place. Now the table is stuck in a indented position.
