      Problem Summary

      Indent/Outdents do not play well with tables in the Confluence Editor. Trying to use this feature when a table is present can lead to unexpected behavior affecting the table itself and the surrounding lines.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Create a page
      2. Click Insert > Markup and paste in the following sample content:
        Line one of text
        ||head1||head1||
        |body1|body2|
        Line two of text

      3. Place cursor to the left of the table the whole table. The flashing cursor should be height of the table, indicating it is entirely in front of it
      4. Click the Indent button, and then the Outdent button right after

      Expected behavior

      • On indent, the table and ONLY the table is indented.
      • On outdent, the table is moved back to the original position.

      Actual behavior

      • On indent, the table and both lines of text before/after it are indented.
      • On outdent, only the top row of text is outdented, and the table plus the following line of text remains in place. Now the table is stuck in a indented position.
