      Problem Definition

      Currently there is not a clear way to change the logging location for <Confluence-Install>/logs/atlassian-synchrony-proxy.log or <Confluence-Install>/logs/synchrony-proxy-watchdog.log.

      It’s not possible to edit the locations in log4j.properties, since it’s not Tomcat logging.

      Suggested Solution

      Provide a way to manage the locations of Synchrony log files.

      Why this is important

      Some users have size constraints on different directories. Logging takes up a lot of space, so being able to manage where log files are written would be helpful to maintaining directory sizes.
