Unable to delete date lozenge in tables

• Hitting the delete keyboard button on some dates caused individual characters in the date lozenge to be deleted (but the first character and the calendar symbol couldn't be deleted)
• Hitting the delete keyboard button on some dates caused the cursor to jump outside of the table.

Notes

Individual characters can be deleted in case where a date lozenge is copied from view mode to edit mode. The same behaviour can be observed with the status lozenge. This is because the editor treats the pasted content as-is and does not try to convert it.
