Image with image effects broken on IE11

Summary

Images with image effects (like shadow) are not displayed in IE11 (other Browsers not affected).

Environment

IE 11 and IE8

Steps to reproduce:

1. Add a png Picture to a confluence page
2. view the page in IE11, picture is displayed
3. Add an effect to the picture (shadow...)
4. view the page in IE11, picture is not displayed

Expected Results

Image displays correctly with effect added

Workaround

• To load older version of the plugin on /atlassian-confluence-6.8.1/confluence/WEB-INF/atlassian-bundled-plugins/ImageEffectsPlugin-1.6.1.jar

• Steps to impement:

1. Stop confluence
2. Backup the file .../atlassian-confluence-6.8.1/confluence/WEB-INF/atlassian-bundled-plugins/ImageEffectsPlugin-1.6.1.jar
3. Delete the file
4. Copy ImageEffectsPlugin-1.5.4.jar to the above location
5. Start Confluence
