Summary

Attaching specific Excel file makes the JVM process that runs Confluence Tomcat crash.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Login to Confluence
2. Hit the "Create" button and enter edit page.
3. Upload and insert a problematic excel file with "Insert files and images"
   

Expected Results

The Excel file object is inserted with thumbnail on the edit page, and you can save the page.

Actual Results

The tomcat JVM process dies when the Excel file object is inserted.

Note

Currently we recognize this symptom only with a specific Excel file.

Workaround

Not uploading the problematic file.
