Summary
When users select the Include Page Macro within the page editor in 6.7, it displays the same description for the Include Excerpt Macro, instead of displaying the correct description for that macro.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the editor for any page within Confluence 6.7 and head to Insert More Content > Other Macros
- Search for the keyword include
- This should show both the Include Page and Excerpt Include macros and their descriptions
Expected Results
After searching for those macros, the Include Page Macro should show the following description:
Include the full content of one page within another page
Example from Confluence 6.3:
Actual Results
Instead of showing the correct description, it's showing the following:
Include the excerpt from one page within another page
This is the same description for the Excerpt Include Macro.
Example from Confluence 6.7.0:
Notes
Besides the incorrect description, there does not appear to be any functionality issues with either macro but instead is just causing confusion on the purpose of the macro.
Workaround
No Workaround is needed as the Macros still behave as expected.
