      Problem Definition

Currently there is not a consolidated location for details on when e-mail notifications are sent out with Questions for Confluence

      Suggested Solution

Document the information on a single page

      Workaround

      Details on notifications:

There are 3 types of watching:

      1. Watch all - you get a notification each time someone asks a new question
      2. Watch a topic - you get a notification each timer someone asks a new question in that topic
      3. Watch question - you get a notifications for all answers and comments on that question

You also get notifications about other people's interactions with your activity, e.g. when someone upvotes or accepts your answer, when someone comments on your answer, or likes it.
Then you also have have ordinary confluence notifications for mentions.

And users can share a question, which triggers a notification
