Version 6.5.0 ,when I use the Excerpt Include macro in a different page, It's not possible to list multiple used Excerpt macros created on that page.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Create a new page with 2 Excerpt sections
      2. Create another page and use the Excerpt Include macro
      3. You will notice that it only allows you to select a page title and you can't drill down to a specific excerpt.

      Workaround

A 3rd part app MultiExcerpt provides the ability to define and use multiple Excerpt macros from a single page

A part of this requirement for me would be that excerpts would have ids (much like page properties macro) and when including excerpts they could be referred to by id for selecting which one is included.

One extension of this would be that multiple excerpts with the same Id would be shown consecutively in the include (here the term id may be disputed, as ids are usually understood as unique identifiers of some entity, but I'm fine if it is called something else).

Being able to include multiple sections of a page as an excerpt would be very useful when wanting to except content that has been formatted on the source page using sections. In my use case, breaking out to separate pages the content to excerpt is not desirable, since the content is related and in sections as a way to format the page.

We need this to build a index of keywords used to explain terminology that we can Excerpt Include from in other sites. We do NOT want to create a new Page for every terminology in that List.

The Excerpt Include Dialog is simply missing the option to chose which Excerpt of a Site should be included. It is only possible to chose a site.
