CSS in Jira Portlet macro overwrites Confluence default styles

When adding a Jira portlet to a Confluence page, the default font changes a bit. The size of the text gets increased when the portlet is attached to the page. This is due to the style-sheets created by the portlet. They seem to overwrite the Confluence defaults.

            Hi Cheryl,

            Thanks for the answer.
I do not think the problem is related to the browser because I have the same problem with IE or Mozilla Firefox.
I have created an issue on the Confluence Support https://support.atlassian.com/browse/CSP-24955.

            regards,
            Laia

            hi laia~

the jira macros plugin bundled with confluence 2.9 was 2.8.1.2, which contains the fix for confluence css getting overridden by jiraportlet css (described in the two issues you link). but i don't think the problem you describe would be caused by this (it is your portlet styles that are not showing, not your confluence instance styles). there is another issue that may explain the problem you are seeing, if you are using IE: jiraportlets in ie not getting styles. that issue has been fixed but not yet released – fixed version is scheduled to be included with confluence 2.10.

other than the above, i cannot comment on your specific problem at this time. as you probably know, the overdue cf is a 3rd party plugin and i am not familiar with it. also, your request is more suited to a support case, so please create one if you need additional assistance on this. (note that support will only be able to help you with the part of your issue that pertains to the jira macros plugin but not with the unsupported overdue cf.)

            Hi to all,

I was wondering if my problem (here below) is related to this issue and if someone can tell me if it has already been solved.

I have a Jira filter containing the Overdue CF (http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAEXT/Overdue+Customfield) on it and I have imported it in Confluence using the jiraportlet macro.

In Jira the Overdue column shows different colors (red, blue, black) if issues are over due or under due. However, when displaying the portlet in Confluence, this color code is not applied and all lines are black. The problem, of course, is that there is no way to identify overdue and underdue issues by their color anymore.

I've seen that there are also other issues related to what it seems to be the same problem, but I don't really understand if the problem has been solved.
For your information, I am using JIRA 3.11-#288 and Confluence prod 2.7.1, Confluence test 2.9.1
