Disabled user is still receiving mail notification for team calendar reminder

      Steps to replicate :

      1. Create a new user in Confluence
      2. Add an event to the calendar and ensure that you add the newly created user to the "Who" text field
      3. Set the "When" to 10 minutes from the current time
      4. Reminder set to 5 minutes before
      5. Disable the newly created user immediately after that
      6. Wait for about 5 minutes and the newly created user will receive a mail notification

      Workaround
Change the user email address to another email address via the admin panel

Same problem here, many useless and bothering notifications that can not be turned off

The other very important problem is security! How can you ignore this behaviour for such a long time?

Also in time of GDPR??? Seriously ... we would have to delete the user from Jira which is not possible in case that the user has created some comments, as Jira does not allow to search for the comments and change the user who commented to something else. What the heck? And even though, you want to keep the reference of it, so we really do not want to delete that user. So what now? Once we get to the court should we forward them to Atlassian?

Same issue here. If a user is disabled or loses the rights to view a calendar, he still gets notifications via email.

We have a very fluctuating team, so it is not practicable to execute a database query, if a user leaves a team.

Furthermore it is a security breach, because former team members getting information about the current work.

Can we raise the priority here?

Users that quit the company whose email address is still valid are getting emails from Confluence because of this bug.

It's not straight forward to disable those notifications in the database either.

We are seeing this bug on Confluence 6.12.2 with Team Calendars 6.0.25 : all our disabled users (we're using Crowd) are receiving notifications for each change to our calendars.
