Confluence installer provides an option to install application as a service. Such option uses System V init initialization system to install Confluence as a service, however it will not work with newest Linux distributions (Debian9.1, Ubuntu 17.10) as these distros are not supporting Sys Vinit anymore (only systemd is supported).

Feature suggestion:

• It should be possible to choose during Confluence installation if it is installed as init or as systemd service.
