Description
Summary
When inserting a link >> Advanced options, in Confluence editor, if you type '[' followed by part of the page name to show a list of the pages in another space, it doesn't display anything.
Steps to Reproduce
- Edit one space in Confluence;
- Click on the option to Insert link;
- Choose "Advanced" on the sidebar;
- Typing '[' and part of the page name won't display any list or drop-down menu with options of pages;
Expected Results
As per the document about Links in Confluence, you can see that:
Choose Link > Advanced then enter the space key followed by the page name spacekey:mypage.
Type [ and enter part of the page name then select the page from the list.
(you can hover over each suggestion to see which space the page is from).
Actual Results
No menu or list is shown when typing '[' followed by part of the page name. You need to know the exact name of the page you wish to add since no suggestions are displayed.
Workaround
Insert exactly the name of the page you wish to make a link to. For example, if your space key is "SPA" and your page name is "PageExample", insert on the Link field, on "Advanced" options, SPA:PageExample
