Description
To reproduce this behavior, we used the "Meeting notes" template as an example:
- Create a new "Meeting notes" page and save the page. Confluence will have created 2 pages.
- Access the "Meeting notes" page (the one that contains the report and the "Create from template" macro).
- Edit this page.
- Click on the "Create from template" button and select "Edit".
- The "Template name" attribute will show the first template in the sorted list (here, it's "Calendar"), not the "Meeting notes" template.
Expected behavior:
The "Template name" attribute should default to the template name with which it was created for.
Interestingly, even though the "Template name" defaults to Calendar (or whichever template is sorted first in the list), the button still creates a Meeting Note page. And, if you manually select the "Template name" value to the correct template name and save the page, it still works.
Finally, this behavior is true for other templates besides "Meeting notes".
