      Problem Definition

      Currently, if you @mention inactive users in Confluence, no users are found.

      Suggested Solution

      Add strike through user mentions of users that are inactive.

      Why this is important

      This would prevent confusion for collaborators looking to contact stakeholders. It's also alarming for some users who think that the deactivated user might still be receiving emails about sensitive information.
