      Problem Definition

In Confluence, it's possible to view resolved comments by clicking ... > Resolved Comments However, this only shows the highlighted text and what the comment was. It's not very useful because you don't see the entire context of the comment.

      Suggested Solution

Provide an ability to click on the highlighted text so that it jumps exactly to the place where the comment was made

      Why this is important

This improves the use of the list of resolved inline comments

[CONFSERVER-53179] Ability to navigate to source of resolved inline comment

Do I really have to reopen the comment in order to be able to then see to what it referred, to understand whether I'm happy with the resolution, then mark it as resolved again, even though it wasn't me that resolved it?

Yes, I have been struggling to see how my comments have been resolved.  In the Resolved Comments pane, I can see the text the comment is attached to, the text of the comment, that it has been resolved and by whom.  But I can't see how it was resolved.  Perhaps jumping to the place where the comment was made will do this, as long as, when there, I can see the before and after text.  If no change was made that should be obvious too, as well as any reply made by the person resolving the comment.  Thanks! -JD
