Using superscripts and subscripts is hard. There is no keyboard shortcut for getting into superscript or subscript, so have to always go back to the toolbar.

When using the toolbar, if you place your cursor where you want to type the superscript, and the select superscript from the toolbar, the cursor is no longer where you placed it. Who knows where it is. You have to try to click back to where you want to place your superscript, but even that sometimes fails.

The only viable way to do this is to first type the thing you want to be a superscript and then highlighting it and choosing superscript from the menu. But even then, how do you continue typing? You have to place the cursor back to the end of the superscript to continue typing normally.
