Steps to reproduce

      1. Attach a .TIF file to a Confluence page;
      2. Save the page;
      3. Preview the file;

      Expected behavior

      Confluence previews the original image.

      Actual behavior

      In the top left corner, the text says

      Evaluation Only. Created with Aspose.Pdf. Copyright 2002-2015 Aspose Pty Ltd.

      and in the middle of the image, it says "Aspose.Pdf".

      It only happens with previews, thumbnails don't show any text.
      Downloading the file doesn't carry over the "watermarks" as well.

            Astonishingly we also stumbled over this bug with Confluence 8.3.2. We are seeing the "Evaluation Only" plastered on the preview of *.ICO files. Please remove the library/preview feature or license it correctly!

            I first reported this to Atlassian support on March 28, 2017 and this ticket was made for it on March 31, 2017.

            Kind of insane to me that this issue still exists over 2 years later. Is this ever actually going to be fixed?

            In the meantime we're on Confluence version 6.13.2 . Still not solved!

            Could you please either urgently work together with Aspose to have this fixed or simply license the software? It's really hard to explain our users that we do run an enterprise level software that uses evaluation copies of bundled software.

            For the time being, is there an option to specifically disable preview generation for TIFF files?

            P.S.: We are using the Confluence wiki within a life-sciences context where a lot of supplementary data is generated in TIFF file format. Therefore, that really hurts.

            P.P.S.: And here is the link to our support request.

            Same here on Confluence 6.3.3

            I can't see that this issue is rated as "Low" as every TIFF-image has got this useless text on it and you can loose sensitive information.

            Please license the Aspose-library in your Software.
