Hi Atlassian-Confluence-Team,
FYI: I read about the same error description in CONF-5096 but i didn't find the corresponding Bug-Report, so here is mine:
Since upgrade from confluence 1.3.5. to confluence 2.1.1. and even after upgrade to 2.1.2. the following javascript error occurs. Affected Browsers are IE6 and FireFox 1.5, OPERA IS OK!!
1. If one click on "edit" an javascript error occurs (see screenshots of CONF-5096)
2. If one try to switch between RichText and WikiMarkup, the waitImage appears but nothing else happens
3. If one try to edit in RichText mode the changes are NOT SAVED AT ALL, but the change appears in the "recently changed list" (even if one clicks the "minor change checkBox")
4. If one try to edit in WikiMarkup (another user with another default) mode the changes ARE saved
5. The naming of the make-this-my-default-editor-link apperas to be labled incorrectly. The user with RichtText as default has a link named "make richtext default" and the user with WikiMarkup as default has a link named "make wiki markup default". Shouldn't it be vice versa?
The strange thing is that javascript error didn't occure directly after upgrading. After the upgrade to 2.1.1. i changed the default editor of my confluence user to "WikiMarkup" which is not possible any more. Something has happend meanwhile , but I have no clue what ...
Could you give me a hint to workaround this behaviour. Due to working with confluence i couldn't make a rollback to 1.3.5. ...
Kind regards
Thomas Eichstädt-Engelen
