    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Problem Definition

In case of Confluence Server synchrony is deployed on the same container as Confluence and it's starting together with Confluence and can be controlled from Confluence interface.
In case of Confluence Data Center the synchrony nodes can be deployed separately.

      Suggestion

Please provide the documentation on how to install synchrony as a service on Windows and Linux hosts.

      Solution

We now have an article on how to run Synchrony as a service on linux: Run Synchrony-standalone as a service on linux
